Hey! I’m Emma, I’m a professional chef with 30 years of experience cooking up incredible dishes around the globe. A few years back, I found myself craving something vibrant, healthy, and packed with flavour. The answer? Kimchi of course!
What started as a personal project soon became a passion. I made batches for myself, then for friends and family, and soon for their friends and family. Fast forward, and now we have YesYum, a brand celebrated in national food media as one of the top kimchi makers in the country. And I couldn't be more proud.
Our success stems from our dedication to traditional techniques. Using a slow, wild fermentation method, we craft kimchi that’s brimming with deep umami flavors and all the good, gut-friendly bacteria your body loves.
Despite the growing demand for YesYum products, we remain committed to small-batch production, ensuring every jar is perfectly fermented and bursting with premium quality. We work with local produce wherever possible, blending our love for food with a strong commitment to the environment and community. Constantly adapting to minimize our environmental impact while maximizing the positive effects on our customers’ health and communities.
As you may have heard, running a small business is no easy feat. But this one is special and worth the highs and lows. I feel really passionate about what we do here at YesYum. It takes a village, and I’m endlessly grateful for my amazing family and friends and you guys, our wonderful customers.
